2021 Winter 2 HappyFeet Leagues
Please note that in the face of COVID-19, we will be taking extra precautions to ensure the safety of the players, coaches, and spectators. Social distancing, hand cleaning, and masks are our primary objectives. Our team sizes are reduced to 4, 5, or 6 depending on field size. Two teams per field. Three fields maximum with social distancing markers. One parent per child will be allowed in the facilities. Kids will sing songs, go on adventures, work on skills, and play fun games with their coach and bobcat for 45 minutes (2 year olds 30 minutes.) Indoor leagues are located in Merriam and Lee’s Summit. Staggered start times and time in-between field sessions to decrease traffic. Saturday start times will range from 9am to 12pm. Sunday start times range from 1pm to 5:00pm. Hand washing/sanitizing as everyone arrives. Bobcat soccer balls sanitized between each session. Masks to be worn by adults (including coaches.) Please make sure to watch for signs of illness before coming to the fields. We truly appreciate your flexibility and willingness to stick this out with us. We can’t wait to have fun with your little ones!

WHO: Boys and Girls 2-5 Years Old
WHAT: Each session is 45 minutes long. The 3 yr. old’s have a 30-minute HappyFeet class directly followed by a 15 minute non-competitive game. The 4 & 5 yr. old’s will have a 15-minute HappyFeet class directly followed by a 30-minute non-competitive game. Kids will sing songs, go on adventures, and play fun games during their class time. Each player will have their own ball to excel at their own rate. Little Toes (2 year olds) have a 30 minute class followed by 15 minutes of parent stay and play time.
WHEN: The 8 session league (6 guaranteed) will begin the weekend of January 9th and will continue through the weekend of February 27th. Times are assigned by age and can be found by selecting your preferred location above.
IMPORTANT TIME SLOT INFORMATION: We try our best to always follow the times listed, but we do reserve the right to slightly alter the game times when we experience an unexpected shift in age group enrollments. We also put your time slot requests as a top priority, which means we can’t put all the same age players at the same time slot. You will play against the same team every week (this will help with Covid protocol as well.)
REGISTRATION: Cost includes a team jersey, medal, and 8 weeks of soccer fun! (6 weeks guaranteed for all leagues) Click your league location to learn more and register! The HappyFeet Leagues are just $139. Our regular rates, $154, apply after January 1st.
*Team Registration Discount is $600 or $19 off per player. Get four teammates and use the team registration button on the registration form.
**You will receive an email notifying you of your child's team and other important information Tuesday evening, January 5th, by 7pm. WE USE AN EMAIL CLIENT SOFTWARE, SO MAKE SURE TO CHECK YOUR PROMOTIONS, JUNK, & SPAM INBOXES!!! To ensure everyone receives their team information, we will also be posting the rosters on our website. Please use the code provided in your confirmation email to access them.
UNIFORM: Each child will receive a HappyFeet League jersey that will be color specific to their team. Shorts/socks & fan gear from Capelli can be purchased here. Kids will need to wear shorts and shin guards (Little Toes, 2's, do not need shin guards). Indoor leagues do not allow cleats, but we will allow indoor or turf shoes.
WEATHER ALERT TEXT SERVICE: Directions to sign-up for weather alerts will be emailed with the league rosters. Please note: You must sign up for your specific league to get that league’s specific alerts. This will allow us to notify you of any weather alert changes. We will also post alerts to the banner on our website and send out an email.
